How Ood.

Latts works when the attack is declared. Once per attack declaration. As long as you have friendlies attack a ship that Latts has a TL on the ability works.

Also latts as of current literally can't have 2 target locks on the same ship regardless of the additionally once per opportunity issue.

Latts can still have two target locks on two different ships, which I think is much handier (why don't more people use Weapons Engineer?). Just remember to bring enough friends for attack those ships for you.

Oh and TB! (Gunner just in case you want to still attack when you inevitably miss)

Because it's not actually that good.

It's more of an opportunity cost issue IMO. Personally, I wouldn't run Latts Razzi without one.

So, you can PTL and use Recon Spec. to go ahead and dump 2 Focus and a TL on someone else. That's pretty good. Who would be best?

I wonder how you can get an Evade token to then dump?

Starviper would like it

I'm assuming the Evade token thing either implies that one of the droids/crew members gives a crew, or they're trying to future-proof it for any other upgrades that might give you access to Evades on that ship.

and K4 because screw your stress, filthy rebels xD

but hey, we've finally got some BUFFERS!

Cool Hand.

Wait, so the Evade token in the Defender expansion was there for the future use of Coolhand AND x7? Woah. That's long range planning!

My first latts razzi builds used weapons engineer. I rather quickly determined that it's a waste of points.

Not to discount those who claim to use it to great effect, but this was my experience also. Weapons Engineer encourages your ships to fire at different targets instead of focusing fire. Even with Latt's ability, you are not going to reliably one shot a ship every turn allowing you to maximize WE by splitting fire. I like K4 on Latts, and maybe Bossk if I have a same or lower PS ship to get double benefit from her ability, but Weapons Engineer was wasted points for me.

At least Nashta Pup works with Latts. Sorry Moralo, no cannons or auxiliary arcs on Z-95s.

What about keeping the other guy guessing which ship you will attack? Weapons Engineer is all about misdirection!

It also lets you spread fire if you can't focus without problems, keep the second TL for the SUSPENSE

and generally mess with the enemy plans.

Now we can use reposition abilities and worry less, use buffer as a badass blocker and have FUN even more

where's the "order two" button?

The ability doesn't seem very sparkly to me, but I'm hoping I'm wrong.

Most of the token-passers in the game are pretty mediocre. Not hard to figure out why, either; you'd normally rather have at least one token on all your ships instead of all your tokens on one ship.

I guess you can stack her with Predator/Glitterstim/Gonk (maybe) so she can carry around persistent buffs while jettisoning her tokens every turn to other ships that want multiples, but that doesn't seem like a particularly efficient squad paradigm.

You want tokens on the ships that need the tokens at the time. Scum is all about stealing and swapping tokens and damage, take advantage of that.

There is a reason why nobody ever uses Squad Leader. I, generally, don't like to spend points without generating additional dice modifications.

I basically see her as akin to the Rebel Convoy. Give her Adaptability (-1) and Anti-Pursuit Lasers, and set her up as a blocker. She can deprive the ships she hits of their own actions, while passing her focus and target lock tokens to higher-PS friends like Zuckuss.

Don't forget the Atani Mind-Link EPT that we can sorta see in the card spread. Seems to say something along the lines of "When one ship with this EPT acquires a token, the other ship with the EPT gains the same token."

Might mean that Manaroo can send her tokens to someone else and get a new copy if they both have the Attani EPT. All depends on point costs but I'm sure that is the synergy that FFG is going for.

All from Dengar's Tale.

Or her stress to 4-Lom

Back to the actual topic... I think this ability seems very good but would be rather surprised if it didn't actually have a range limit. Thusfar as far as I'm aware the only non-limited card is Palpatine and he costs 8 points and 2 crew slots.

The shuttle title 'ST-321' lets you acquire TL's on any ship "in the play area"

Ooh, this would change things.

OP says focus/evade/TL tokens. No potential trickery involving stress/ion/tractor beam/etc
