I own 4 T-65s, 1 HWK, 1A-wing, 1Z-95, and 1T-70. Should I buy a B-wing or a Y-wing? Squads using only these ships please! Also 2 of the T-65s are from the core set and the other two are from the single ship expansion. I do not own any aces sets or large ships. Thank you for any help you can give me.
Which should I buy and what should I build?
You can't go wrong with either ship- they're both really fun. However, a Y-Wing will go really well with your HWK, since they carry a few similar upgrades. In addition to that, you'll get some more astromech droids. A B-Wing might be a better choice sometime in the future, especially if you're planning on getting a Slave 1 or YT-2400. Then you'll have a Gunner to go with your Fire-Control System, as well as some other stuff that goes well on a B-Wing.
As for actual squads... well. You can't go wrong sticking X and Y-Wings together. Their pilot abilities work very nicely with each other- and since you've got the HWK, you've got the option of sticking with generic pilots and sending Kyle or Jan along. Hope that helps.
Get a K-Wing and a TFA core. After that, an Outrider or a Falcon.
I agree with superunknown: the upgrade sharing between the Y-wing & HWK (turret) and Y-wing and X-wing (astromech) is a great reason to go Y-wing first -- that's well thought-out!
That said, always just get what you like. This is a great game, and while there are 'fixes' you'll eventually want, you can't go wrong with flying the ships you dig.
Wait.. u can play slave 1 with b-wing ? i thought u couldnt mix affiliations

You are correct, you cannot mix factions. The Slave 1 and YT-2400 expansions comes with the Gunner crew card.
Thank you for the suggestions everyone! It was extremely helpful. I have another question though. Should I buy the K-wing? I know that Twin Laser Turret is extremely good when used with the Y-wing Title, etc. is the K-wing a good blocker or just a better choice than the Y or B?
The Y wing comes with the R2 astromech. Really opens up the T-65s dial.
I would get an expansion that gives you options for ships you already have, in addition to being a strong ship in its own right. Let's go over the ones you have:
T-65 X-Wing
You already have a decent Wedge (Integrated Astromech, Push the Limit), and a decent Biggs (IA, R5). The best additions here, I think, would be the Y-Wing (for R2), the TFA core (for BB-8) and the Outrider (for Lone Wolf for Luke).
T-70 X-Wing
This is a tricky one. All of them, and especially the PS4+ ones, want Autothrusters, from the Starviper expansion pack, which you might not be interested in. Red Ace also likes Comms Relay, from the TIE/FO expansion pack.
HWK-290
Twin Laser Turret (K-Wing expansion) is very powerful on the HWK, and the upcoming Dorsal Turret (Ghost expansion) seems promising. Jan Ors like Wired, from the Force Awakens core set.
A-Wing
The A-Wing really wants Chardaan Refit, Proton Rockets and/or A-Wing Test Pilot, all from Rebel Aces.
Z-95 Headhunter
The Bandit is good as is, and Cracken is decent with any cheap EPT. Blount likes Adv. Homing Missiles (K-Wing) and S-Thread Tracers (upcoming TIE Adv. Prototype expansion).
I think, given the ships you already have, and that you seem to want a tanky, reliable damage dealer, that I would actually go with the K-Wing expansion. Miranda is a powerhouse right out of the box (she likes Tacticians and C-3POs, but she's perfectly playable crewless, or with Jan or RecSpec). There are cards in this pack that help the HWK (Twin Laser Turret), the Y-Wing (TLT, and potentially Plasma Torpedos and Extra Munitions) and the B-Wing (EM and PT). When you then decide to get a Y-Wing, you'll have the best turret ready for it, and can stick the R2 on Biggs, for example.
If you really want a B-Wing, I think I would go for the Rebel Aces kit. While it lacks the Fire Control System from the B-Wing pack, you get the Jan and Kyle crew cards, both of which are strong, a slew of excellent upgrades for the A-Wing you already have, and some really interesting pilots.
Finally, the TFA core has BB-8 (Wedge loves this guy), Wired (Jan wants it!) and of course Poe Dameron.
So, that's my recommendation. K-Wing, Y-Wing, Rebel Aces, TFA core, B-Wing, in that order. Can't go wrong with the Millennium Falcon, Outrider, Ghost or even the Rebel Transport either, but I got the impression you preferred small ships.
Edited by OkapiI'd say either the K-wing or an E-wing. Corran Horn is the rebellion's best small ship imo, followed shortly by Poe. K's are a huge amount of fun, run either as the best twin-laser platform in the game, or the best bomber in the game.

Corran Horn without Engine Upgrade or Fire Control System, though? Both of those are in packs the OP doesn't have.

Good point, I stand corrected!

The Most Wanted pack is needed for the Y-Wing title - but it does provide the bombs option for Y-wings as well.
It's an interesting point though. Which Rebel small ship aces are powerful, reasonably easy to play and doesn't require you to buy a bunch of packs?
Corran Horn: E-Wing, OT Core set, Millennium Falcon for an EU, AS, VI, R2D2 build. Optionally A-Wing and B-Wing for PTL and FCS. 3-5 packs.
Poe Dameron: Basically playable right out of the box (BB-8 and Wired), but likes any combination of PTL, VI, R2-D2, R5-P9, IA, Autothrusters. 1-4 packs.
Miranda Doni: Also playable out of the box, but likes Tactican, Jan Ors, Recon Specialist, Dash Rendar, Sabine Wren, R2-D2 and C-3PO. 1-2 packs.
Jake Farrel: You'll want some decent EPTs on him. The most popular seem to be PTL, Lone Wolf, VI, Crack Shot, Predator. 2-3 packs.
Tycho Celchu: PTL is a nobrainer, but he also needs Refit or Prockets, and definitely Test Pilot. He also needs a second EPT, which could be anything, really, depending on the build. 3 packs.
Luke Skywalker: He wants an EPT and Integrated Astromech. He's playable with Cool Hand or Marksmanship, but much better with either Predator, Lone Wolf, Veteran Instincts, or, if taking R2-D2 or BB-8, PTL. 2-3 packs.
Wedge Antilles: Basically the same as Luke, but he really likes BB-8, PTL and IA. Alternatively, Stay on Target, Integrated Astromech and Targeting Astromech. 3-4 packs.
Keyan Farlander: Any EPT that gives stress. Stay on Target and PTL are probably the strongest. If PTL, might consider Jan in the back seat. 2 packs.
Ten Numb: Any EPT or cannon that gives you crits. Marksmanship is okay but weakish, I'd go with either Calculation or VI + Mango Cannon. 2-3 packs.
So basically I'm back at my K-Wing recommendation.
Poe is a solid second, and in the OPs case the TFA core also gives him a very decent Wedge.
