I like to imagine that I'd catch it if I ever tried to actually bring a list like this. :P

It could also just be great psychological warfare. "Wait, why do you have Engine Upgrade on him?"

"Oh, you haven't heard? Oh, well, you shall see soon. Or will you..?"

i can see an arugment that the limitations of the phantom dial say otherwise... but I like your Idea...

the banks get more range, but end up slightly harder to fly/predict.

so your dial stays on 3 straight. Decloak whichever is safer forward boost back 'in line' with the bank opposite to your decloak. then recloak. maneuver and clear stress. so that last turn when you think you can make it wherever you need to go, 4 straight

I like the phantom idea but I'm 99.9% sure that a friend is gunna take feedback on a Firespray. That's concerning with 4 health

Tie Adv's have bad dials for green manuevers, HOWEVER they have a 5 straight...

Being a life-long Car Wars and Star Wars fan, I like this idea so much that I may need to try it in my play group.

Here are my lists, based on as much fun as competitiveness.

Tycho would be "immune" to stress, 5-straight + boost, and would be hard to catch. If you think you can outrun folks, Autothrusters are useful. Otherwise you might consider Stealth Device.

For Imperials, a 4-straight + large base boost is pretty fast. With two firing arcs and a lot of opportunities for range 2 attacks, Tactician can be useful. For a race, you may consider an Ion Cannon to slow folks down.

For Scum, Kavil with a turret and Engine Upgrade looks fun. For LOLs, switch to Ion Turret and Ion Bombs.

There are better builds, sure. But these look fun to me.
