Did I miss something? Why does Paul need to play Imps or Scum?

I don't have all the details, but the finalists (or something) for the new system open tournament will be required to fly a list in each if the 3 factions.

The winner of each of the eight tournaments is flown to London for a special, ninth, tournament where they will battle each other. There they will have to use lists from each faction.

You mean apart from the announcement of a new international tournament? A slightly new format?

What slightly new format? I mean Premier is just FFG official Competitive formats and this is an FFG official event so wouldn't it fall under premier, and if not just competitive then?

That IP needs to be expanded. Though, TI3 is board game perfection (with the addition of some of the expansion content), they cant mess with that and they know it.

I find myself in the minority for liking Twilight Imperium over Eclipse (there is no isolationist strategy) . But yest Twilight Imperium does need some more expansions. The last IP Rex was not the best one. I mean they made a great LCG out of their android board game. I'd figure another side game or so would help out the trademark.
