Competitors are required to fly squads from all three factions, BUT the fact that they'll be mandated to have at least one ship from whatever the community votes on means, even if Scum is stuck with the Scyk, it cuts into the usual BroBots loadout a lot (and if the community ends up picking the YV-666 or Firespray or something, takes the possibility off the table entirely).

Sure, we could still end up with 3TLT + TB Scyk or something, but I'm personally excited to see people forced to shake up their go-to Scum lists.

Brobots will probably take a popularity hit from wave 8 anyways.

If you're stuck with a Scyk you can just drop HLC's from both IG's and there is your 14 points. Then you're free to run something other than IG-88B, so C and A probably. That doesn't seem half bad anyways.

If forced into a HWK you could run a 48 point IG88B with an R4 Agromech TLT Y-Wing and Palob with a TLT.

So you can build around these restrictions with IG's, just can't do the typical copy and paste thing.

Um i only fly brobots and i win quite often and am almost always in the top 8.

Not by a mile. Those ships are fun and they have their niche lists, but there's a reason brobots made a strong showing at world's.

And there was only 1 in the top 16 (correct me if I'm wrong) there was more Corran Dash witch Brobots are ment to be a good counter to. I've had more success with the "fun" ships then with brobots. The biggest problem they have is there are so many counters for them and everyone has seen what there tricks and know what to expect. But this opinion is based on what I see in the areas I play. What happens in other areas is a different story

That single Brobots list did place 4th, higher than any Dash/Corran .

Also, there were more Brobots lists in top 16 than any of your proposed ships (Brobots amounted to 50% of all Scum lists in top 16 ).

Scum as a whole is in a pretty bad place competitively IMO, but hopefully wave 8 will change that.

Pretty sure a number of people in this thread are getting trolled.
