I posted this yesterday but it has vanished so apologies if this is a duplicate.

I have both X-Wing player mats.

Both have been stored stood up on end in my games room.

Both have been used no more than 3 or 4 times in the months I have owned them.

The Death Star playmat is fine.

The star field playmat has 'eggboxed' all allong one side and is unusable.

a uniform strip 5" wide all the way along one edge of the mat has rippled. the 'hills' are about an inch wide

and separated uniformly by about an inch gap.

Like I say. it is unusable and looks terrible.

Has anyone else have this happen?

Can this be 'ironed' out in any way?
