I just about just posted this in another thread but caught myself. I was talking about upgrade cards and someone pointed out I sited the wrong upgrade to the wrong ship expansion. The reason I haven't bothered to memorize any of that is because this fleet builder is so freekin cool. The interface is easy to use and everything is displayed in an easy to understand format. It also will tell you what expansions you can find the upgrades you are using.
Fab's is awesome. Hit lock after and print and you get awesome 3D images of ships
i find fab's too difficult of a UI, i prefer Warlords site above, i going to donate to him next pay check.. but hey , six to one / half dozen to the other. if a particular fleet builder gets the job done for you then go with it.

Ok, that is cool, but I still like the 3D looking print of the final list vs a typed list. Very nice if you don't already know the cards!

Not easy to find - don't press pdf, but the smallish print button, then you get the cards listed out, plus little images of the ship models. Kind of cute.
I really like the layout of the Warlords fleet builder. However, I wish it had a feature where you select which ships you own like in Fabs so that you don't actually assign more upgrades than you have cards for. Both are good products.
if you play vassal like i do alot, then you are "unlimited" on gaming resources
warlords is by far the best UI imo
Being new to the game, the warlords one is excellent.
