Okay so it's obvious this game needs Princess Leia in it. Everyone else has crew and pilot cards so why not her?

So how do we make her different and cool but not OP?

So first off, let's give her a ship. Y-Wing. Done. But what makes it different? How about a title?

BTL S3, Y-Wing only.

Add one crew slot to your upgrade bar. You must equip an Ion Cannon Turret paying points as normal.

Cool. That gives her a nice thematic ship with the chance for some cool synergy.

Now how about an ability?

Let's see? Leia doesn't take any crap, and she always helps her friends, even getting into some pretty serious trouble! Becoming a bounty hunter and getting captured by Jabba? For a smuggler like Han? She needs an ability that reflects this.

Once per turn when another friendly ship at range 1-3 would suffer a crit, you may suffer that crit instead. If you do, roll one addition attack dice when you attack this round.

Cool! I think that makes for a neato ability.

Now what about pilot skill? Well, you don't get to fly a Y-Wing and not be a good pilot. It takes skill to pilot a warthog like the Y-Wing and so I'm putting Princess Leia at Ps6 with an EPT slot. That way she can jump up to 8 with VI like her bro Luke, and still make use of her ability.

And as it is, it's becoming pretty slim pickings for new Rebel ships at the moment. A fighter that's appeared in the films and has recently been piloted by a main character from the Original Trilogy? They'd be silly not to bring it in sometime.

And I know, prequel origin ship, but it a hell of a better choice than the freakin' H-Wing.

Han crew will be pretty beast on the Ghost at least. And Leia may have a place if Rebels ever get a really cheap crew carrier that she can ride along in to give a jousting squad all a free turn of Adrenaline Rush.

So you've got a Tactician and R3-A2 dishing out two stress at the cost of one stress at a time, allowing you to get rid of it through any number of means to keep access to the actions.
