M3-A Scyk makes an appearance in Rebels

By Stone37, in X-Wing

It's not a Scyk however i like the style. If they would even implement a fluff rule about thzose gyro-wings/cockpit i would be happy to see it in X-Wing.

= barrel roll

I think its different to a barrel roll. Depending on what the "sense" of the rolling of the wings is and if there is a difference in rolling the wings and rotating the cockpit. E.g. when he charges at Hera at the end he mostly does it to have a wider spread of his shots. Before they do it in several scenes more as a flying maneauver.

It could lift the pilot of stress (not necessarily the ingame term) when doing certain maneauvers.

After roll, 180 degree arc

Yeah but Star Wars doesn't follow physics and its not an arial maneauver anyway. So it just borrows the name for something similar.

I blame starfox

The ship is a slimmed-down personal fighter version of the Gauntlet.

Presumably designed as a mass-produced system defense fighter for the Mandalorian Protectors or whoever wound up in charge on Mandalore during the Imperial period.

Almost giving them an Autoblaster like quality. Could be an interesting mechanic giving a ship a free autoblaster cannon.

It still looks **** cool.... I will buy it just because of the gold lasers match the ship tokens for Scum.

You are aware of the fact that the lasers won't work on your model aren't you? :-D

Why don't we have a pilot that can use hard-1-turn template for barrel-rolls yet?

But, but making a smaller version of a pre existing space ship is just crazy.

Unless it's the GUNBOAT, ISP-6 or Missile Boat.

we have one who can take 1 banks, but even that is stress-inducing for the already low-PS useless squint xD

making scyks not suck will need to give then automatic bank BR at dial reveal

Or an Interdictor cruiser.

Or the Raider.

MINI IMPERIAL WEDGES FTW

Interesting idea.

At first I just thought, "We do. His name is Blue Ace." But then it occurred to me, the positioning would end up being quite different, with backwards movements too. Sort of like an uber-drifter, or a Tallon-roller on glittercrack.

All these Scyk jokes make me a sad panda. :(

I'm still taking one to the next tourney...

Worked out decently for me. (Plugs signature.)

Even so, makes a nice fighter for the scum as a Mandalor

I think we're all missing the main thing from this.

Catch that.

TIE Fighter Envy...

Hurrump, we wish we could carry HLC's!!!

Now we just need Sabine, Phoenix Ace, and Phoenix Squadron also
