Pretty cool idea. I usually don't test build stuff that isn't released yet... but yes, I like that idea.

You can also flavor the Inquisitor to suit the rest of your points. PTL, Juke, Predator, and VI are all viable options on him. As for the rest of the points you can fit a phantom without a crew to allow for initiative bid, typical Fel, Vader, or... perhaps even 2 more ships. You can figure those out though :)

I've talked about it at least in my mind or locally. Baffles and tractor beam on the shuttle with a full inquisitor still fits predator Vader nicely at 31 point shuttle, 31 point inquisitor (using push rather than juke or vi), 37 point Vader with a 1 point initiative bid.

Gives a couple of strong aces with an even trickier shuttle. If the shuttle shoots beam to mess up positioning just once it's worth it and baffles is money.

Haven't tested yet because no inquisitor and that's trickier to proxy in person than I care to do but it might be my store champs list.

... for "1 free" point (because 1/2 hull rule rounds down they have to kill it to get the value) you get to reposition and deal crits with your tractor beam. or just pew pew as per usual.

I'm not a huge fan of the tractor beam on the shuttle, mostly because it's going to shoot last, making half of the tractor beam effect useless.

If I have an extra point, I suppose that works. But I think I'll still end up with Fel in these lists (and probably a VI Inquisitor for Ace hunting), so like to save erroneous points for init bids.

I mean the idea just looks like a less effective rehashed version of Vader and palp, with even less damage going through

I really like this list, I would only change it to the following just because of personally prefering Zeta over Omega Leader :) and this gives me space for the baffle or maybe a tractor beam on the shuttle. I like both but I think baffle gives it a bit more maneuverability.

Omicron + Palpatine + Baffles + Engine Upgrade is a lot of zoom, and Soontir fits snugly into the rest of the points (though I like him with Targeting Computer, both for initiative bid and killing stuff fast).

I can't wait to throw the tractor beam on Omicron/Emperor. I usually have a point left on my Palp squads.

I think I'd rather take the 3 or 4 dice shot with my OGP then try to TB someone. Now I can see the TB have some good use if you run the shuttle with a swarm of PS 1 or 2s.

to assure someone next turn will fly over a rock/debris to not take actions or fly with vader with Decoy (which i do on occasion in tandem with Phantoms not with VI) tractor can be super useful.

Yeah zeta leader does much better with predator since it's not action dependent and it makes him a little cheaper. I love the 4 ship palpmobile builds, the release of the inquisitor is gonna really take palp lists to the next level, opens up way more options!

Omega is probably technically better but I just really prefer rolling 3 dice instead of 2 :D if I went competitively I might go for Omega, but I play mostly casual and so far I have always dissapointed with throwing 2 dice ;) but that just might be my bad luck...

Two dice with Emperor behind you is pretty tight. But. of course, fly what's fun for you.

Jendon hangs back with Colzet, passing him target locks on ships anywhere on the board. The interceptors go in to deal some damage while the Emperor and Autothrusters help keep them alive. Colzet flips damage cards face up with his free, long-range target locks, defending the shuttle and being a general pain to kill.

The Inquisitor will be one of the most used pilots in the game once he's released. For his cost, he is nearly unmatched.
