Davish Krail, aka Pops' ability should be: Once per round if a friendly ship within range 1-2 takes a Trget Lock action, then Pops may receive an Evade token."
This is since Pops was supposed to be covering his wingmen, but instead flew out of the trnech as he kept saying stay on target.
Oh and I know someone else said that Tycho and Corran should be in T-65s I completely agre and have been saying that for a while!
Can you imagine the possibilites of Tycho and R3-A2,, and an engine upgrade, with push the limit! He'll be the pilot T-65s have always dreamed of!
Edited by knaveleadThis will be my third time in the past couple of weeks making this suggestion...
Leia Organa as a Y-Wing pilot.
The Y-Wing was her ship of choice all through the Marvel comics series. And while I wouldn't expect her to have an insanely high piloting skill (as she's a diplomat first and foremost), I do think she could serve in a support role by, say, reducing stress on all ships at range 1-2 or handing out focus tokens or target locks.
Anyway, again, this is something I'd like to see if the Y-Wing makes the eventual Rebel Veterans expansion.
Plus, it would just be nice to get Leia in the mix alongside Luke, Han, Chewie, Lando, and Wedge.
Leia in a Y-Wing would be nice just because we need more Rebel Y-Wing pilots. Hell, maybe we can finally get a Y-Wing pilot with an EPT slot.
Oh right, I didn't realize that the ability to fly an X-Wing is genetic. Silly me.
No, just reasonable for a Force-sensitive woman from a family of Force-sensitive ace pilots who often fights on the front lines. Do you think Leia being able to aim a blaster also makes her a "do-everything Mary Sue"?
Why do you find it surprising for Leia to be talented at more than one thing and not her father and brother?
Edited by WingedSpiderYeah we totally need to see more Y-Wings. Those things never get played these days. ![]()

You can never have enough Y-Wings.
Also, I noticed you didn't respond to my questions.
Probably because it's stupid.
Yeah we totally need to see more Y-Wings. Those things never get played these days.
Y-wing pilots yes. Poor choice for Rebel Vets, also yes (because obviously E-wing and also X-wing), but I would like to see a Leia Organa pilot card.
All Skywalkers (and descendants) have traditionally had at least a mild genetic predisposition towards piloting, though only Jaina really rivaled Anakin's ability.
Assuming Rey is also Skywalker's granddaughter (and is Jaina by another name anyways) you've got more proof of this. Leia is PS 7 with elite, no question.

Also, Dak Ralter.
Edited by Deepspace5I want Tycho as a pilot in a Lambda Shuttle with no guns.
I'd really like to see Kenix Kil continue the trend of the Imperial Pilots ending up better when they show up as Scum versions.
Face Loran. We don't have any Wraith Squadron pilots yet, and if Tetran Cowall gets a pilot card then Face definitely should.
Can't second this enough. We wants the Wraiths! WE wants the Wraiths!
Not quite sure what the card would say, but this has to happen!

You could even do a tie phantom rebel card with Rookie One piloting for the rebels!
Lieutenant Telsij
PS7 - Y-Wing Pilot
Ability: When firing a (turret) secondary weapon, you may change one focus result to a hit result.
Points: 24
Gave him that ability as wookiepedia says that at Endor he had a gunner in his Y-Wing with him, so it fits in both fluff and for what Y-Wings get used for.

Yeah yeah, Mary Sue's.
Mary Sue's often tell you how bad they are but don't show it. Leia is the opposite. Well, and she's not afraid to say whatever the hell she wants. I agree that yes, too much of a good thing can get old, but I think girls really need a role model like Princess Leia right now.
Girls need to know that they can be an equal part of society and be strong independent people and they need these ideas instilled in them and enforced positively, from an early age. We help boys develop these ideas with plenty of hero fantasy and adventure. Girls deserve the same treatment. Princess Leia is the perfect tool for that, and if you're willing to take an honest look at the girl who played her and the woman she has become, you'll see that Carrie Fisher is a noble embodiment of that ideal as well. She is a very gracious woman at heart, though you wouldn't know it at first glance! Haha! Bit of a rough talker that Carrie...
I think Rey is a great part of this too! She's awesome as a role model even for guys!
Yes, Girls need capable and realistic people to look up to but Rey is a terrible role model: everything she does she is automatically good at (thanks plot powers). Fixing stuff, hitting people with a needlessly large metal rod, carrying said metal rod around pointlessly, using ridiculous force powers, lightsaber dueling, flying ships. There's no struggle, no yearning to get better. IF you're not automatically good at something, why try to get better? Rey doesn't have to! She just IS proficient. Compare that to Furiosa from Mad Max, who has legitimate reasons to further the oppression of the world she lives in since her life is somewhat better than most but chooses to do the right thing, help those in need, and potentially create along term solution. Max beats her up and steals her ride. After reaching the one place that gave her hope, it turns out to be a sham. SHE'S GOT A KICKASS ROBOT ARM.
Sorry, I'm ranting now but I really dislike Rey as a character.
Er, how?
Oh duh, and Princess Leia!
I have no idea what she'd fly or what she'd do, I really need to read some of the new comics so I can back this up more.
But how cool would that be? An OT era Leia flyin around in some cool Alderaanian made spaceship? Maybe a couple Veterans of Alderaan pilots for generics and then maybe one of her pals for another named pilot?
I dunno, give her something like Dark Curse's ability but with an EPT slot and a really big upgrade bar, but not a lot of base stats. Make her a support character who can hold her own if built right, but not be overpowered in that she can do both things at once very well.
I think according to the Star Wars comic series she's an X-Wing pilot isn't she? An idea I hate because she's becoming a "can do everything" Mary Sue.
Luke, her brother, is a great X-Wing Pilot and a Jedi Master who can take down an AT-AT on foot. Anakin, her father, is a military leader, the Lord of the Sith, and the greatest pilot in the entire Star Wars universe.
Leia being a pilot makes sense, especially when you consider she's force-sensitive and already willing to fight on the front lines. It's hardly "do anything" territory for her to be both a politician and a pilot.
Oh right, I didn't realize that the ability to fly an X-Wing is genetic. Silly me.
You seem to think that's a ridiculous notion, but when someone's a naturally gifted pilot it's not much of a stretch at all to believe the traits that make it possible - fast reflexes, good visual acuity, the ability to focus through distractions, all could be influenced by inheritable physiological traits. Also, Force sensitivity, which we know is inheritable, pretty much seems to make everybody good at piloting, and Leia definitely has that, so.
Nearly everybody in Star Wars can fly a spaceship. Being able to do something that basically everyone can do doesn't make her a Mary Sue.

(...).
Y-wings are still stuck at having only 4 pilots (where one has awful art). 2 aces, none of them with EPT.
T-65 has already 10(!)pilots, T70 has further 5.
So I would absolutely second having more Y pilots, for variety.
Yeah yeah, Mary Sue's.

I think Rey was good at a lot of things, but I don't think she was great at everything. We saw moments of weakness. For example, she had the vision and wanted to run from it all. She didn't want any part of it. That's a bit of a character flaw that she had to work past. She was scared and had to overcome her fears.
Also, she tried to fire the blaster that she was so confident she could use and Han had to remind her to take the safety off. She's not perfect by any stretch of the imagination.
And Rey's best quality is her humility. She doesn't think highly of herself. Right now it's because she doesn't understand her potential, but I believe that will still be humble even when she becomes the best Jedi in the galaxy.
Nearly everybody in Star Wars can fly a spaceship. Being able to do something that basically everyone can do doesn't make her a Mary Sue.
This is something a lot of people forget. Even C-3PO has been shown flying a spaceship in the movies. C-3PO.

And I find that BORING!
Let me put it this way, what if everyone in the world knew how to fly fighter jets? It would make fighter pilots as boring as car drivers. I prefer it when characters have gaps in their skills because it's tedious when it turns out they can do everything.

Everybody can fly a spaceship. Not everybody can fly a fighter.
But it makes complete sense a Force-sensitive person who often fights on the front lines would know how to fly a fighter, just like she knows how to aim a blaster.

These ships are the Star Wars equivalent of jet fighters...
Also your example makes not even the slightest amount of sense. Are you suggesting that the training required to fire a blaster and the training to fly an X-Wing is somehow comparable? Force skills or not I'm certain there is a degree of technical knowledge involved in flying military level ships that no amount of force-cop-out is going to fix.
I can buy it with Luke and Vader because they are shown since the very beginning to be extremely interested in piloting various vehicles. Not so much with Leia, she seemed to spend that focus on becoming one of the galaxy's greatest diplomats and leaders instead.... but never mind let's just hand-wave piloting ability as well, because we need these characters to have absolutely no gaps in their skills at all.
Edited by stabbaldRey Falcon with an ability like Dengar's: one that makes the firing arc a serious consideration.
Like an extra attack die or something.
i like this one

also the stupid circular argument of " i didnt like the girl jedi " " i did " "we must do endless on line battle for all time" is really dumb
this thread isnt even about tfa, and unless your gonna make reys pilot ability "if your opponent posts a lot about how much daisy ridley rustled his jimmies in the last star wars movie, deal all damage cards face up" its pretty irrelevant dudes
