Starkiller. Not sure what he would fly. He probably should have come in the tie advanced prototype though.
If you could pick a new pilot. Who?
Tag Greenly/Bink Otauna - in TIE fighters or in a Lambda Shuttle (one as pilot, one as crew)
Gavin Darklighter!
Tryst Valentine - Skipray Blastboat - Some sort of advantage (disadvantage) against female pilots.
Jessika Pava! In T70.
who has t70 squadron custom cards?????
not necessarily picking a new pilot, but I would love to see the Countess' ability from the Imperial Veterans pack.
Looks like it does something with a maneuver.
Edit: not countess; count.

Not to poke the beast, but Rey?
Yt-1300 Pilot 38 points with:
With "While defending you can change 1 of your (eye) results to evade."
ok maybe closer to 40 points...
Rey + C-3P0 would be pretty broken
How so? Doesn't 3P0 happen pre-modification? So her ability would not combo well with it at all...
She would be at least 44 points, no doubt though.
I just picked that ability because it is Luke's in the X-wing, ya know, like she's Luke's daughter...

We don't actually KNOW that she's his daughter; that's just a fan theory. She might be, but until VIII comes out, we can't make the assumption
Voort "Piggy" saBinring:
T-65 x-wing
PS 7
Ability: You may spend tokens to modify your dice immediately before the 'compare results' step.
27 points.
Another awesome wraith squadron pilot! Piggy was really good at making optimal tactical decisions. His ability lets him modify his dice last, making the most of his tokens.

He was also very good at tactical calculations so maybe
During the combat phase, increase the pilot skill of all other friendly ships by 1.
Scum Mara Jade on Skipray / Z95.
And of course a luxury yatch with Lando (Lady Luck) or Mara (Jade's Fire).
Oh duh, and Princess Leia!
I have no idea what she'd fly or what she'd do, I really need to read some of the new comics so I can back this up more.
But how cool would that be? An OT era Leia flyin around in some cool Alderaanian made spaceship? Maybe a couple Veterans of Alderaan pilots for generics and then maybe one of her pals for another named pilot?
I dunno, give her something like Dark Curse's ability but with an EPT slot and a really big upgrade bar, but not a lot of base stats. Make her a support character who can hold her own if built right, but not be overpowered in that she can do both things at once very well.

I think according to the Star Wars comic series she's an X-Wing pilot isn't she? An idea I hate because she's becoming a "can do everything" Mary Sue.
Edited by stabbaldI just want an Obi Wan Kenobi crew card... Every time a friendly ship dies you get a free action.

Er, how?
Luke, her brother, is a great X-Wing Pilot and a Jedi Master who can take down an AT-AT on foot. Anakin, her father, is a military leader, the Lord of the Sith, and the greatest pilot in the entire Star Wars universe.
Leia being a pilot makes sense, especially when you consider she's force-sensitive and already willing to fight on the front lines. It's hardly "do anything" territory for her to be both a politician and a pilot.
Edited by WingedSpiderNo love for Ace Azzameen? Come on, people.
But yes, I second Davish Krail.
"When you acquire a Target Lock, all friendly ships at Range One may also obtain a Target Lock on the same target. For each ship which acquires a Target Lock this way, receive one stress token".
Stay on target... stay on target.... STAY ON TARGET...
Yeah yeah, Mary Sue's.
Mary Sue's often tell you how bad they are but don't show it. Leia is the opposite. Well, and she's not afraid to say whatever the hell she wants. I agree that yes, too much of a good thing can get old, but I think girls really need a role model like Princess Leia right now.
Girls need to know that they can be an equal part of society and be strong independent people and they need these ideas instilled in them and enforced positively, from an early age. We help boys develop these ideas with plenty of hero fantasy and adventure. Girls deserve the same treatment. Princess Leia is the perfect tool for that, and if you're willing to take an honest look at the girl who played her and the woman she has become, you'll see that Carrie Fisher is a noble embodiment of that ideal as well. She is a very gracious woman at heart, though you wouldn't know it at first glance! Haha! Bit of a rough talker that Carrie...
Edit: Tangent time.
I used to read a lot of books as a kid. Fun stuff like Dragonlance, Jack Whyte, Tolkien, lot's of Star Wars books, TSR, all that. And I remember that I was always attracted to these noble characters, the honest thieves, the good King, you know, the hero's! I had a lot of fantastical role models and I spent a lot of time as a kid thinking about how things were done in the old days and how if someone wanted to hurt someone you loved you had to intervene, and I'd think about things like what if, you know? I'd hope that I'd be able to make the right choices just like the heroes in my books. Fast forward twenty years and I think I probably wouldn't murder anyone or do meth. I pay my taxes and I don't speed in my car when no one is looking. I still hope I'd make the right choices when it came time to make tough calls. I'd like to think I'm an okay person and I certainly don't cheat or act sh*tty at X-Wing.
Okay, so that's all total BS, I'm a vile old codger who hates green shrubbery, but those books were good for me as a kid! What was my sister stuck reading? Some crap about a horse ranch and some steamy ranch hand with a troubled past? She turned out fine too, but we had a laugh about it the other day because we grew up in that era of blue for boys and pink for girls. She wasn't ever worried about making the right choices because in those vapid books they used to pawn off on girls simply because they were girls, those questions simply didn't come up! Sure some books probably touched on important topics for girls growing up, but in those times that sort of thing was few and far between. Nancy Drew got laughed at because of her dresses while the fact that she was an intelligent detective went largely ignored because only the "dorky" girls read Nancy Drew, or even read at all! It was for more important for girls to be playing with fashion dolls and learning how to do make-up and listen to boy bands, and this was the normal thing.
Thankfully things are starting to change more now, and you see far less of this targeted children's marketing that puts kids into roles automatically.

I think Rey is a great part of this too! She's awesome as a role model even for guys!
Asajj Ventress in her Banshee flying for Scum of course.
Edited by hardbapThis will be my third time in the past couple of weeks making this suggestion...
Leia Organa as a Y-Wing pilot.
The Y-Wing was her ship of choice all through the Marvel comics series. And while I wouldn't expect her to have an insanely high piloting skill (as she's a diplomat first and foremost), I do think she could serve in a support role by, say, reducing stress on all ships at range 1-2 or handing out focus tokens or target locks.
Anyway, again, this is something I'd like to see if the Y-Wing makes the eventual Rebel Veterans expansion.
Plus, it would just be nice to get Leia in the mix alongside Luke, Han, Chewie, Lando, and Wedge.

Oh right, I didn't realize that the ability to fly an X-Wing is genetic. Silly me. ![]()
Captain Phasma in a FO.
At the beginning of the game, remove all your shield tokens. Then, you may throw this ship in the compactor.
Cost: - 30

Like an extra attack die or something.
Yup.
One thousand likes.
Princess Leia's Y-Wing. I'm sold.
HEY FFG! C"MERE! WE GOT ONE!
We want Princess Leia in a Y-Wing please and thank you. That upcoming Rebel Veteran Pack is a perfect spot for her. That is all. Thank you for your hard work and continued labours.
