Jagged Fel (and the clawcraft in general) are my biggest wants for x-wing. I actually have a clawcraft model from mel's miniatures I need to paint up, and a whole custom expansion put together for it (that I used for the reddit custom ship contest)

Mary Sue's often tell you how bad they are but don't show it. Leia is the opposite. Well, and she's not afraid to say whatever the hell she wants. I agree that yes, too much of a good thing can get old, but I think girls really need a role model like Princess Leia right now.

Girls need to know that they can be an equal part of society and be strong independent people and they need these ideas instilled in them and enforced positively, from an early age. We help boys develop these ideas with plenty of hero fantasy and adventure. Girls deserve the same treatment. Princess Leia is the perfect tool for that, and if you're willing to take an honest look at the girl who played her and the woman she has become, you'll see that Carrie Fisher is a noble embodiment of that ideal as well. Yes, Girls need capable and realistic people to look up to but Rey is a terrible role model: everything she does she is automatically good at (thanks plot powers). Fixing stuff, hitting people with a needlessly large metal rod, carrying said metal rod around pointlessly, using ridiculous force powers, lightsaber dueling, flying ships. There's no struggle, no yearning to get better. IF you're not automatically good at something, why try to get better? Rey doesn't have to! She just IS proficient. Compare that to Furiosa from Mad Max, who has legitimate reasons to further the oppression of the world she lives in since her life is somewhat better than most but chooses to do the right thing, help those in need, and potentially create along term solution. Max beats her up and steals her ride. After reaching the one place that gave her hope, it turns out to be a sham. SHE'S GOT A KICKASS ROBOT ARM.

Your post is full of foolishness, though. A struggling/failing character can be inspiring but it's not mandatory. Nobody would bat an eye at a kid who idolized Master Chief or Hercules or Aragorn.

I understand why FFG might not want to add more cross-faction ships officially, but DANG do those Wraith stories create some cool-sounding lists.

I see Lt. Kettch as PS8 (Should be PS9, but Wedge is flying with a stuffed ewok on his lap, so I imagine that's awkward and complicates things)

Not sure if he should just have Wedge's X-wing pilot ability, or something altogether different.
