Shrimps and vettes

Any thoughts on this. I only have three vettes and three shrimps total. And one rogue and vill pack

[ REBEL FLEET (398 points)

1 • MC30c Torpedo Frigate - General Rieekan - Ordnance Experts - Electronic Countermeasures - Assault Proton Torpedoes - Foresight (117)

2 • MC30c Torpedo Frigate - Ordnance Experts - Electronic Countermeasures - Assault Proton Torpedoes (79)

3 • CR90 Corellian Corvette B - SW-7 Ion Batteries (44)

4 • CR90 Corellian Corvette B - SW-7 Ion Batteries (44)

5 • CR90 Corellian Corvette B - SW-7 Ion Batteries (44)

6 • Dash Rendar Outrider (24)

7 • Han Solo Millennium Falcon (26)

8 • Luke Skywalker X-wing Squadron (20)

I've won a tournament with a very similar list. I ran 3 Corvette As. One with Mothma and the other two with TRR.

I don't like Rieekan too much simply because you're almost assuming your ships are going to die. With Mothma and Corvette As you can really dominate and long range with careful maneuvering. With initiative and MC30 can swing in close as the last activation in a round and then unleash hell before getting away from the danger zone at full speed at the start of the next round.

I didn't use ECM on the MC30s and used Admonition on the other.

I didn't find the lack of ECM an issue at any point. The doubles of each token are amazing and the titles are fantastic for keeping them alive. I only lost an MC30 in one of the games against an ISD-II and 2 VSD-Is.

I don't know if Luke makes sense here. I would recommend another Rogues pack so you can run a generic YT-2400 instead. Your squadrons will probably be most useful for tying up enemy Bombers for a round or 2 just so your ships can clear them and run free for the rest of the game.

I agree with just about all of what MikeNYHC said, and I'd add that Rieeken on a ship your taking into danger is no good. Put him on a corvette and keep him at distance. The only way he works is if he lives. I also am a huge fan of Turbolaser reroute circuits on corvettes, and have out damaged MC30's with them.
