Scum. Is Kath + 2 Starvipers Feasible?

I haven't started with the list builders yet, but curious if Scum Kath and a pair of Starvipers can be done in 100 points. Seems like after Kath the vipers will be pretty much naked.

Have any other 2 Starviper + Lg Ship suggestions that might work?

Doesn't have to be ultra competitive. Just something fun and interesting to fly without being blown off the table in turn one. ;)

I've had fun with the following:

Bossk, Black Sun Employee (100)

Black Sun Enforcer (27) - StarViper

Autothrusters (2)

Black Sun Enforcer (27) - StarViper

Autothrusters (2)

Bossk (46) - YV-666

Veteran Instincts (1), "Mangler" Cannon (4), Outlaw Tech (2), Engine Upgrade (4)

Sounds like a lot of fun. Like, neosmitty, I love to run Bossk, with two BSE's with autothrusters. Great on the block, can dish it out as well, and for some reason they generate hate, and give Bossk time to run amok.

I've been using this:

IG88D w/ predator, advanced sensors, autothrusters & ion bomb = 46

2 BSE's w/ autos = 27 x 2

IG88 is a great distraction. I find the Star Vipers are at their best once they get in on a flank or behind the enemy, or if the enemy turns on them, rush them straight in for blocks.

If you want to make it work with Kath, I would suggest one of the following Kath builds:

Kath w/ predator, intel agent & engine = 46. This gives you more information so its easier to use your Vipers as blockers and kath's damage output remains decent.

Kath w/ lone wolf, outlaw tech & engine = 46. This build allows you to k-turn for the opening exchange, allowing Kath to fire out of the rear arc right from the start of the match (and you get a focus token, so not totally defenseless). Its harder to use because you have to keep your Vipers away from Kath so she gets the benefit of lone wolf...

I like scum kath with 2 tltys

Actually doesn't sound too bad to me either.

Here's one idea with Kath:

+ Engine (4)

+ K4 (3)

+ Crack Shot (1)

2x Black Sun Enforcer (25)

+ Autothrusters (2)

Kath is pretty maneuverable with good damage output. The StarViper generics don't want many upgrades anyway, so here they annoy turrets and block aces.

Another list just posted had Kath like above but with VI instead of Crack Shot. Pros/Cons for either taking VI or Crack Shot?

Well, you are going to spend to 100, so you will nearly always lose the initiative bids of other PS 9+ aces, but with crackshot, you can force through that one damage you need.
