The JumpMaster was specifically designed to allow a single crewmember to travel across long distances for long periods of time with relative comfort.

On the whole, this is a great forum that I very much enjoy reading and, recently, participating in. But threads like this remind me of... let's just say other gaming forums, ones dedicated to other companies, which are perhaps best described as being like Obi-Wan's view of Mos Eisley. I know that the OP of this thread is frustrated and unhappy that an article and ship they want are being, to their mind, delayed. But it reeks of entitlement. And I'll say it again to be clear: we, as players, are not entitled to anything.
FFG provide us with an awesome game to play, and they're really very communicative about it well in advance of any releases. But they also have dozens of other games, and fans of all those games, and have to judge what's best for their overall market. Let's be grateful for what we get.
I'm not trying to start any fight with this post, though I totally accept that I'm going to be the target of some vitriol. But I think someone needs to stand up and say that threads like this are not really the tone that we should be aiming for. As a community, we're better than entitlement.

Are we really upset? No, not really. But man oh man is it fun to complain when you are this excited about something. Kind of like a kid waiting for Christmas. I mean, we have so little to complain about that we almost have to complain about our previews. Check out crowd favorite topic, "Which preview will be out today?" if you have you're doubts.
But seriously, the only reason to get up in arms is FFG is so sneaky odd with their preview schedule. RIGHT when you think you got it down, and know exactly when they are coming, then they do a whole week of previews of a single board game and nothing else, and then they don't release the preview the next week asap as we eagerly await because we are SURE it's coming today since it's already a day late.
BECAUSE IT'S COMING TODAY, OKAY???? FOR SURE, AND WE NEED IT NOW.

Oh, absolutely. I'll clarify: I don't particularly think hobojebus feels entitled. And I understand the exasperation. Gods know I want to get my hands on the Ghost. So. Much. But there's a danger of a community building a collective sense of entitlement that causes it to start to... "eat itself", for want of a better term. And threads like this can push it in that direction, however incrementally... especially when there are already other threads talking about the previews. To be clear, I am not suggesting the thread shouldn't have been posted, or that hobojebus is in any way in the wrong or a bad person – I don't think any of that. I've just witnessed communities going downhill before and really don't want to see that here. it worries me.

I don't know if completely is the correct word, but in the original wave 8 spoiler preview, they showed the dial with a single maneuver shown.The Ghost does not have a 4 green straight as shown there.
What he is talking about with the TAP though, I have no clue.

I also thought it came across as entitlement...hard to read tone via text. I feel the same way as the OP though... I shouldn't, but I feel somewhat entitled or owed the Jumpmaster 5000 article, but more importantly a release date for wave 8. I think the pure anticipation is only because it was supposed to be 4Q 2015 initially... We know these things slip, but if we just didn't know at all, maybe our excitement wouldn't be so high?
