I have a question about the RPG forums on AEGs website.

Will the AEG forums ever be re-opened? There is a lot of good fan made RPG resources on those forums that people no longer have access to? If it is a possible solution, I am the owner of the Homeofthecraneclan.com website and would be willing to host the content there.

Who can I talk to to get the details on this? I would like to help in anyway I can?

You will need to contact AEG directly.

The last time I pestered AEG customer service about this was back around (US) Thanksgiving, and I got a rather un-confidence-inspiring response:

[...] at this time I am unaware of any details regarding the online forums. They do not seem to be the highest priority due to the other situations that need to be addressed at the moment. I will set this email aside and contact you if i receive any details myself regarding this issue. [...]

This was after being told in September "check again in November."

Continuing to poke politely at them probably can't hurt, though. I have the feeling this is something they didn't think much about when making the deal and it promptly went straight to the bottom of the IP transfer logistics to-do list. It'd be nice if they get the message that simply sitting on it forever and hoping everyone forgets all about it is not a very realistic option.

Edit: that said, I can't imagine anyone at AEG had a lot of time to think about it between Thanksgiving and New Year's, what with Christmas orders and koku orders and holidays and so on. But it's three weeks into the new year now...

As admin of Kaze no Shiro I was saying we couldn't access it, so I was begging anyone that saved it offline to send it to me so I could make it available. Its painful we lost so much of our history.

Oh! There goes a misunderstanding ! So, if I have custom content from the old forum (I'm the author of Blood and Steel, the "generic human opponents" fan-supplement), then I can send it to you?
