Crimson Menace (100)

Soontir Fel (32) - TIE Interceptor

Push The Limit (3), Autothrusters (2)

Carnor Jax (31) - TIE Interceptor

Push The Limit (3), Autothrusters (2)

Rexler Brath (37) - TIE Defender

Veteran Instincts (1), TIE/x7 (-2), Twin Ion Engine Mk. II (1).

I'm trying to vary up my usual Soontir, Vader, Caranor squad. I like the new stuff coming out with Imperial Veterans. I'd appreciate any thoughts on this build.

Brath is fine with VI, but what is his main purpose? It seems like Carnor with VI would be a better ace hunter, freeing up points for Predator or something for Brath, which turns him into the hammer.

You put Juke on Rexler, easy. Gives him offensive and defensive mods with one token, and frees him to use his action to focus for hi pilot ability. You just have to hoon it around the map like Sonic the Hedgehog gottagofast.

The problem with Rexler is he's expensive and it doesn't free up a lot of points, with the new Tie/X7 title he gains a lot of benefit from Twin Ion Engine MkII only freeing up a single point that I could either not use for initiative or drop in an Elite talent. But I see your point with Juke only problem is it leaves him limited on green menuvers.

With TIE/x7 you shouldn't be doing reds, though. It is almost never worth it to go under speed 3 and I think the point would be better used providing Brath with Juke. Unless you suspect your opponent is going to be handing out stress, you won't need the greens. I never run x7s with MkII.

You don't want brath at ps10. You want him to shoot after tokens have been used.
