Two different artwork covers on the core set - any difference in the cards?

I am assuming that FF decided to reprint at some point, and changed up the cover art; but, are the cards in both versions the same (graphics, rules, wording)?

The cards are identical. The only difference is that the rule book is missing the ads for the CCG cards.
