Had an odd epic rules question. I was playing an epic game and had a B-wing overlap/ram into the side of my Raider at a non-parallel angle. When the Raider went to move later on that round it performed a straight move. After moving, the Raider's end position still had the B-Wing 'touching' it.
In this circumstance is the B-Wing destroyed? I read the faq about parallel ships and the state of them after performing a maneuver making them no longer 'touching'. Would this qualify and hence the B-Wing is no longer 'touching' for Combat purposes or should it be destroyed and roll for Raider damage?
Huge ship overlap/collision question
The ship did not overlap the B-Wing on its move, the B-wing is not destroyed and is not considered touching the Raider so they may fire on each other.
Thanks for the quick reply! I wasn't sure if the 'touching' FAQ ruling only applied to parallel maneuvering or maneuvers in general.
An overlap (touching) would only be maintained if a ship doesn't move at all.
Now it is hard to keep a huge ship from moving but if it does happen I suspect the previously established overlap will remain in effect (so no shooting!) but the huge should not have overlapped the B-Wing causing its destruction.
