Help with bossk build

So im new to the game and new to scum. I've been playing around with bossk builds. He seems to have a lot of potential but I haven't been able to get his list quite the way I like it yet. This is the base build I have so far

I was considering replacing lone wolf with calculation and running 2 tlt y wings

I have also considered running him alongside two black sun aces or a suped up talon bane or firespray

Are there any substantial tech choices I'm missing? What wing men have you had success running with bossk?

I've had good success with Moralo and a pair of TLT Y-wings (especially in helping to cover the YV's blind spot), but I'm of the opinion that the YV works well with nearly any escort you care to give it, including Kihraxz's or a Firespray. I'd get rid of the Homing Missiles- they don't take advantage of the 180-degree arc and don't have increased crits to mesh with Bossk's ability. Bossk runs best with Calculation (I like to pair it with RecSpec, ensuring he has a good supply of Focuses to use), or else some other option to consistently gets crits (e.g. Mangler Cannon or Mercenary Co-pilot, but I like Calc bc it works at any range and with the YV's full firing arc). Outlaw Tech is fun paired with the K4- you get a free focus/target lock every turn as you slow-roll up the board. I wouldn't make your YV too expense though (i.e. over 45-50 points) as they are often bound to die.

Thanks for the input. I'm going to keep testing with the following changes

This leaves me at a strong 45 points with room for a solid supporting cast

I know there's a build of HWK that allows me to stack and share focus. Does that build only work on the rebel version of the HWK?

Yes, that's only on the rebel version (Kyle Katarn)- the closest Scum equivalent (Palob Godahli) steals focuses from enemy ships and stacks them on himself, but doesn't share with friendly ships.

I like Ralgon's bossk. Personally, dont run 2 TLT y-wings with it, they become too easy to kill.

I don't take credit for that. Flew against it + moralo and had asty, blue ace and farlander torn to shreds in short order.

If you really love Bossk you could also go Mangler for 45pts
Alternatively you could go no EPT but then you could run Slaver and save 7pts or Calculation for a strong early attacks but Crackshot is just safer.
Personally, I predict Slaver will be the go to Scum ship.

wat? No synergy with bossks ability at all?

no build stress to shed, double mods and on 180 degree 4 dice which also blocks target tokens and ignores green range bonus.

Ralgon you should really try Zuckuss just with some dice rolls.

Green Dice - Avg Evades with no Focus due to 4LOM - Avg Evades after Zuckuss

1 - 0.375 - 0.14

2 - 0.7 - 0.26

3 - 1.125 - 0.42

4 - 1.5 - .5625

5 - 1.875 - 0.7

6 - 2.1 - .7875

Lets just say the God of Green Dice is with them and they roll all Evades

Basically green dice is almost insignificant against Zuckuss and 4LOM especially when you have a Crackshot as back up.

The investment on a secondary weapon to just make 3rd range 1 less dice isn't worth it.

It also forces the great Sootnir to have to ALWAYS to have 2 Focus and not spend it when attacked against higher PS ships.

All this for only 2 crew and 2 points.

I like bossk more when hes a craw member with gunner ... you miss get a free targetlock, focus and re shoot all for 1 stress
