I can never see hull being worth anything near what AT can do for an A-Wing..... like...... in any situation, can someone enlighten me? I must be missing something

As a player who has probably had an AT in a list in 75% of my games since they've been out, I can say there are games (and probably even metas) where AT just doesn't trigger or isn't even needed.

The range 3 bonus itself is nice but isn't usually ideal for ships with 2 red dice who have a hard time damaging anything reliably at that range.

hp for AGI 3 ships goes a very very long way.

to the previous point tho, hull on 2 ships isn't ideal.

Idk man until TLT or PWT is no longer taken by anyone​the vast majority, the math aint adding up in my head how 1 point of health is better then changing a blank die result to an evade against said TLT/PWT lists

VS only turrets it's of course better. But vs Bro Bots or Sith Lords it's normally not.

I agree 100% so your are saying that hull is the better option for non-TLT/PWT. Gotchya

I gave this list a try at a store championship on Saturday. It did okay by me (took 6th or 7th out of 20), against some very stiff competition (particularly eventual 3rd-place DarkArk and the always-tough blairburke).

Looking back, there were definitely a few points where I can clearly say I made a mistake (against DarkArk's Vader and Juno, both with Target Locks on him, Kyle elected to keep an Evade token rather than restock Poe, only to die anyway; against Blair, Kyle accidentally shot at a full-health B-Wing instead of the one who was down to 2 hull).

I'm going back and forth on this. I really want to find a way to fit that Moldy Crow title in there, as I think Kyle would benefit tremendously from just being able to bank tokens for defense. The two areas I'm considering freeing up the points are either Poe's autothrusters or R3-A2. The amount of hate that R3-A2 receives is insane. In 2 out of 4 matches, it only had one round of shooting before it was destroyed, and was destroyed after two rounds of shooting in a third.

I did have a shot, but just one out of all 8 rounds. Range 1 Juke primary on the last surviving Brobot who had one health, 3 stress, and no focus to save himself. Kyle was all ready to be a hero and... nope. No hits rolled. But hey, the fact that a Brobot was actually concerned about a primary shot from a Hawk at all was it's own sort of special victory. :-)

We had a local tournament where the top match saw a fat han fall to a palob with both munitions failure and weapons malfunction. Got a range 1 shot and finished him off with his 1 attack die he got from the range bonus.
