Hi Guys!
Recently my SW game has taken an unexpected turn where my PC's have decided to move from being petty criminals and general scoundrels to actually fight with the Empire. They're not however interested in being your average good doers *sigh*. With that context and stealing some ideas from Order 66 pod cast ( Inglorious Rebels ) We have agreed that they will be that group that is operating in the shadows of the actual rebellion - doing things that should not be seen as part of the rebel alliance MO: assassinations, kidnappings, torture, coercion and sabotage etc ( don't judge, that's what they like ).
This is the background. The mastermind behind this is the new mentor my group has: ( name redacted lol ) Miraluka male - failed jedi/abandoned padawan from the war of clones.
And yes, the group of PCs have two force sensitive toons who will get serious conflict for missions.
This is where I could use some help with this mentor. Initially my concept was somewhat the operative from serenity. To quote:
The Operative: It's not my place to ask. I believe in something greater than myself. A better world. A world without sin.
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: So me and mine gotta lay down and die... so you can live in your better world?
The Operative: I'm not going to live there. There's no place for me there... any more than there is for you. Malcolm... I'm a monster. What I do is evil. I have no illusions about it, but it must be done.
As my PCs progress with their missions, they slowly realise that this leads deeper and closer to the Dark Side and their mentor is changing, subtle at beginning with moments of impatience, or loss of clarity, hints of madness etc.
That's all I have and I'm not sure if this makes sense. I would appreciate feedback and more ideas to even further complicate this mentor guy :-)
