Rebels Double Take

By Ralgon, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Been thinking a lot about the suggestion of accuracy corrector and an autoblaster turret on the ghost with a docked phantom, and while it's a monster sure i'm thinking it's not the one and only build for the system slot.

Chopper 37

Sensor Jammer 4

Autoblaster turret 2

Zeb 1

Ion Projector 2

"Ghost" title

Sabine Wren 21

Dorsal turret 3

"phantom" title

Adaptability 0

Ezra Bridger 20

Dorsal turret 3

Push the limit 3

Kanan Jarrus 3

99 points

Wren stays docked till the last minute, then arc doges making best use of the turret.

Chopper tries to wrack up all the bumps he can, with the ion projector chaining bumps if it goes off ( as well as multiplying the stress) and the the jammer reducing return fire.

Ezra turtles up when in arc and just add his 2 cents to the damage when he's not.

Accuracy corrector is just too good to pass on Chopper if you play him like that, also i would drop dorsal turrer in sabine to put a tlt on ezra since you plan on staying docked eith her most of the time

For my money I'd say the Ghost is a brute that is best put to use crashing into things. AC+Autoblaster just seems like pushing the auto-win button. It's a beast. Add APL for extra fun.

Here's a combo I came up with. Ghost + Phantom + B wing, the B mainly because I don't intend to buy two VCX expansions, but no reason you can't put an alternative ship in there

VCX-100: · "Chopper" (37)

Autoblaster Turret (2)

Accuracy Corrector (3)

Anti Pursuit Laser (2)

· "Zeb" Orrelios (1)

· Ghost (0)

B-Wing: Blue Squadron Pilot (22)

Fire Control System (2)

B-Wing/E2 (1)

· Kanan Jarrus (3)

Attack Shuttle: · Ezra Bridger (20)

Wired (1)

Dorsal Turret (3)

· Hera Syndulla (1)

· Phantom (0)

-- TOTAL ------- 98/100p. --

Here's my line of thinking though, crashing into things usually means getting into range 1 of a good part of the shooty end of your opponents list (if he's not silly). having mostly hull and a mid range ps makes chop quite venerable once crits start to roll in, especially if crash no 1 has enough hp to survive a round of combat. Add to that the fact you're going to take return fire from your target (unlike a vt-49)........
