I've just gotten into Star Wars: Armada (only have the core set), and after a couple of games in which I've played both Rebels and Imperials, I'm kind of paralyzed by indecision as far as which faction to go with. Both of them have their strengths (naturally), and I'm wondering if any of the lists I've come up with would do any good in an actual game.
So here's the two lists I've come up with. Both are constructed with tournaments in mind (400 points).
First is the Imperial list, which is intended to be an "overwhelming force" sort of list. I want the Gladiators to flank the Imperial so that any ships approaching will have to go under the guns of at least one Gladiator.

Second is the Rebel list, which is intended to be a light fleet. The idea here is that the Nebulon-Bs attack from the front, using their XI7 turbolasers to do some damage, with the X-Wings providing support, and the Corvettes perform a flanking run, taking a turn or two to angle themselves towards the target's rear area and combine their firepower.
