Imp Boba build?

I suspect this is too expensive but interested in your thoughts:

Boba Fett - 39

Heavy Laser - 7

Ysanne - 4

Hull Upgrade - 3

Was thinking it should be very survivable with Ysanne, but at 56 it is a lot. Possibly get rid of hull upgrade for engine upgrade, but that removes some effectiveness of Ysanne. And what do you fly with it, maybe a doom shuttle and some ties.

Ysanne can work. I like the idea, but would have to see it in practice. Maybe couple it with Determination? Agent Callus might be a better option overall, though.

HLC is just bad on Firesprays. Perhaps it'd be ok if it worked in the auxiliary arc, but otherwise it's not worth it.

Maybe scrap the laser cannon and take predator to try and push through the attack. I like the Callus idea, but think Ysanne is more flexible.

Ya lose the HLC. Its too costly for how often he'll be using it, although if your considering a 2 ship list it might be worth looking into depending on what pts are left.

I've never tried ysanne but I could see her being effective. Coupled with say lonewolf plus a focus he should become pretty durable. Not quite scum fett level but decent. The down side is its a free action so stress will prevent it. Try it out, I've considered it but haven't got to it yet.

Imperial boba's problem is he usually suffers from lack of dice modification and actions because he likes to be ps10. Either predator or LW will help with that, at the expense of VI, just depending what your after.

Kallus I feel is too situational. Tried it a few times but theres better crew IMO.

As for what I use it varies. I usually like tactician + ion cannon for starters now. However navigator is ok if your trying to save points on EU but it all becomes invalid if your not higher ps so it kinda locks you into VI. This setup does allow you to fit long ranged scanners though which is cool but does have some drawbacks. The best part about fettigator is adjusting your straight speed. The banks are largely extraneous since its really his innate ability that does the work by adjusting his arcs and reducing blocking on him.

Whatever build I'm using I'll usually try to fit a single bomb if points allow, preferably a proton but I'll opt for ion if pts are tight. I'll also run missiles from time to time although they don't work near as well on imp fett. I'll do this for specific matches where I'll know I need to spike damage.. like say vs decimators etc.

I really like to run fett alongside a lambda with vader, gunner, baffle plus a tie bomber shuttle with rebel captive and tactician. I've also ran him paired with named defenders, a punisher/bomber combo, plus various other combos but those first two are probably my favorites.

Why not keep it simple?
