I just recently got a copy of the core set but I have been playing the game over the last year. I have a couple questions the Expansion Boxes and ally packs.

I play a lot of skirmishes and have been buying some ally packs. As of yet I don't own any Exp. Boxes. and want to start playing the campaign with my game group. My questions are mainly gear toward what do I do with the cards that I get in the ally packs.

   What do I do with the Side Missions, Story Missions, Imperial Influence cards? For instance, I have Boba Fett ally pack but not Twin Shadows Exp. Box. Can I just add these to the game per the rules?

   Is it my understand with skirmish maps that come in Ally Packs that I need to have the Exp Box that those allies go with?

   I picked up the Leia ally Pack. Can I just add her ally reward card (side mission) to my core set, per the rules on side mission cards?

The side missions to earn these allies/villains usually require map tiles from the respective expansion. Boba Fett is one of the exceptions to that rule (though his skirmish map requires tiles from Twin Shadows).

So including these cards in your decks is possible, but unless you can get a hold of those map tiles, you can't actually play these missions.

So it sounds like, that I can add the Command Cards, Rewards Cards, Tier I, II, III cards from any Ally Packs to my collection regardless of any Expansion Boxes I may have or not have for Campaign. Is this information correct?

It also sounds like I can't add any Side/Story Missions or Skirmish Cards because I don't have those map tiles if I don't have those Expansion Boxes. I can however use their Character and Command Cards for Skirmish.

Basically yes.

However, for reward cards, they are usually won via side missions. Be sure that you ahve the tiles for these side missions (so far, IIRC all reward side missions only need core box tiles, but that might change).

I play campaign, so skirmish I dont know. I do know both Somos and Sorin require their big box expansions to add their agenda sets, because the tiles required for their agenda missions.

Lol, Yeah Somo's needs one tile from Twin Suns I believe?
