Okay... I know it is gonna be great and board game heroic... but dams-it I am tired of daily STAR WARS: REBILLION NEWS!
How bout a little STAR WARS: X-WING News!
I was looking forward to it until that recent review stated that a single game can take 3-4 freaking hours.
Real board games, like the old Third World War series from Games Designers Workshop take a few hours just TO SET UP. Once you're good at it, this game *should* take about 6+ hours to play. These are eight connected 17" x 22" maps. The kind of game where a huge bag of Doritos, a large pizza and a 2L bottle of Pepsi is needed - per player!
Kids these days. 
I wish they would remake the old Rebellion computer game. That was fun. The board game looks like a good attempt to recreate the magic, but I am so many fond memories of time spent playing the computer game.
It's the Star Wars: Rebellion video game in board game form. I want it. I want it. I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT IWANIT!
Also, you guys are looking at it the wrong way. FFG isn't delaying the release of X-wing news, they're reducing the time between the final spoiler and the Wave VIII release!
An Armada strategy article or Wave III anouncement wouldn't be amiss, though.

And don't forget about World in Flames, where a game could easily last one year and needed a entire room just to set it up.... 3-4 hours is the perfect time to have a great afternoon.
Poor addicts. No other game gets consistent news releases like x wing and we still go through withdrawals.
