So we all know that we can spend a surge to recover one strain.

Question: If i have zero strain on me, can i use this Surge to Heal 1 Hp?

Yes sir! If you look under the keyword "Recover" in the rules reference...

"If a hero recovers more strain than he has suffered, he recovers one health for each strain he cannot recover"

Indeed. Also worth noting that just like other surge abilities, you can't "stack" them. So if you rolled 3 surge, you can't recover 3 strain / HP.

Also note that this recovery is *NOT* damage dependent. Meaning if the attack misses or does no damage, you can still spend the surge to recover.
