I think I came to an important, and maybe obvious, realization today. Non click-dependent actions cannot be taken at any time.

For instance, a Clone Chip: Clot action cannot be taken in the middle of me playing Shipment from San San.

In other words, if I spend a click to play Shipment, and then pay another click to use its ability, you(as the runner) cannot interrupt this event to trash Clone Chip and bring Clot in.

Am I interpreting that correctly?

Correct, that is one of the powers of SfSS is you have an astro token. Clot would have to be clone chipped before you play it.

Now, there *is* a window to CC/Clot after the card is installed, but before the SFSS is played. But that opens up all sorts of wiggle room for Cyberdex Virus Suite or baiting the clot with a non agenda card. Install Jackson Howard or a Snare on your SanSan City Grid, watch them Clot, then go "darn." Take two credits, then watch them gleefully pounce.
