Happy Friday

By Cubanboy, in X-Wing

Around here its the slow moving plows, salt trucks and other various equipment on the road during bad weather that causes the most problems.

In NY the worst part of snow on the ground are

  • old people who didnt fly south for winter
  • new drivers in honda accords
  • people who lived in NY all their lives yet somehow managed to never drive in bad weather
  • Plows

most importantly.

  • people from NJ

funny how things around the globe are all the same :D

Nobody there has snow tires. Or heavy coats. Or proper road clearing materials. Or knows how to drive in snow.

Well not in So Florida at least. Whoo Hoo. But we do have northerners that don't know now to drive in the rain. Does that count?

to be fair, you have Old northerners that cant drive, let alone in the rain.

And Central Florida has tourists that think it is OK to hit the breaks and throw it into reverse on an Interstate because they missed their exit!

...the price we must pay to live in Shangri La

once you get NY pizza (and bagels) down it will be Shangri La until then... it is a false prophet of shangri la

We actually got snow!!!! I know this isn't much for many of you, but this is a big deal here. It doesn't happen every year.

I do actually! I have a guy right down the street that use to run a pizza place in NYC. He moved here with his family and even has a device that filters water the same way NYC does, which he swears is why his pie is so good. Great pizza!

There are transplants that do bring good pizza and bagels to the south. It's happening slowly. It took YEARS to get a good pizza down here, but you can get one now.

you need a certified NYer to verify these claims, until then these are baseless slanderous lies.
