I was playing High Moon with a friend of mine and he received a C1 Comlink from a crate.

He then used the card to exhaust Szark after he was revealed, which he then obliterated before any of his companions could get to him to help.

My question: Is Szark considered a Unique card? He uses the standard Trandoshan Hunter card, but with modified stats. The C1 Comlink specifies that it can only be used on regular deployment cards.

We played that my friend COULD exhaust the card, and I lost outright on that round.

Interested to hear thoughts on this.

Don't you use that card at the beginning of a round? You should at least have gotten to go with him and double move him away.

Yeah, you can't use CI Comlink mid-round.

Yeah he used it at the start of the next round. Just making sure that you can actually use that against Szark, don't need anyone to tell me how bad my tactics were... I know that already

That said, in this case the only thing that would matter is if the card is Regular (Grey), or Elite (Red). If the card is Regular (Elite), the Szark is a valid target for CI Comlink.
