How would you like to have wound up in that Pod to start with? Aside from the chance to lose to the World Champion... which would be pretty cool... but it's a guaranteed loss...

not true... i saw nathan 2015 runner up lose a slug fest vs EvilEd on Vassal... so my question to you is... DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES have to have the heart to believe you can win. before you can win.

Absolutely! That's why I have the score I currently do! Miracles can happen and the red dice can save your bacon! I don't put too much stock in Green Dice... I just pray over them more often...
As for that, I've also watched Paul Heaver lose to Blair Bunke on Vassal. It was a great game. Just having either of those appear in my game makes me sweat because I KNOW I'm only making the best decisions I know how at the moment and they are going, "what is that guy doing?" Mostly though, I have the attitude that if I put in the table and vassal time, I can get better and better until the point where I could feel competitive against the better players. I just haven't played enough to see the deeper tactical board state yet... I'm still in the "Miracles" pre-training... (good movie by the way) and have a lot of work to do... ha! Work... as if X-Wing feels like work... but to get where I want to get, there is some that has to be done...
