Has anyone put together a list of popular builds and how the actions go to get the most out of the various cards and abilities?
Break down of Action Economy list... Has anyone made one???
I find that the highest number of action-equivalent effects are in combination with Comms Booster, so they show up in epic play. PtL Jake Farrell is one example, and Jan Ors (pilot) with EI, Expert Handling and Kyle crew can collect 5 focus tokens per round after the first. Lord knows what she would do with them. Maybe there is some combo possible with EI and Kyle on Esege; if you can stuff him with tokens, the sky is the limit. Thinking about it, it would probably have to be Lando, but the result can still be impressive.
A VCX-100 with AS, EI, Lando and again Kyle can also collect a lot of tokens. Throw in Engine Upgrade just because you know you want to dodge.
Edit: That last combo came up in a thread about Sabine Wren pilot with PtL and Kyle, a very nice combo which gives you the equivalent of three actions before you even take your true action step. Wish I had thought of that...

How on earth does this math work?

First round you do a focus action, EI into an EH barrel roll. This gives two stress. During the energy phase, the huge ship uses comms booster. You are now unstressed and receive three more focus. Then during the combat phase, Jan does her thing, giving you another stress. This first round you end up with four focus and one stress. Next round, you begin with a green move, granting you a focus. For the rest of the round, you do as the first, giving you four more, etc.
Edited by LingulaThe one I'm curious about is when your opponent has both an Evade and a Focus token, under which circumstances do you pick to block one over the other with 4-L0M.
Never mind
Edited by Ken at SunriseI like PtL Jake the most. With Comms Booster, he also gets the equivalent of five actions, but without the stress, and they are all useful: one evade or TL, two focus, a barel roll, and a boost.
You may want to put Outmaneuver on him.
What I was trying to get at with this post was like something I read in another post. Someone asked to explain Buzzsaw Phantom and the response was given:
“Whisper” (44) TIE Phantom (32), Gunner (5), Fire-Control System (2), Veteran Instincts (1), Advanced Cloaking Device (4)
The basic idea is you load her up with stress tokens and remove them all with Comms Booster. Kyle then proceeds to turn every stress token into a focus, and gets one more focus on top of that.

I'm resurrecting this because Rage has made incredible action economy possible. By substituting EH with Rage in the above sequence, you can gain 7 focus tokens from the 2nd round, on Jan Ors in the Moldy Crow. Give her a TLT I'd say.
So, from round 2:
- Green move, lose stress, Kyle gives a focus (1 token)
- Focus action (2 focus)
- Use EI for a Rage (3 focus, 3 stress)
- Comms Booster on Jan, she loses stress, Kyle makes it all tokens (7)
- Jan Ors boosts an attack (1 stress for next round)
