EotE GM's Kit

By Akatori, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

I'm going to be running a Force and Destiny game in the near future. I wanted to get a GM's screen and, purely based on the art, I much prefer the EotE screen to the other two.

I know game line specific things like Morality won't be on this screen but I just wanted to check if all the other info, combat tables etc. is all up to date and correct on the older screen? Have there been any changes in the rules or is the EotE screen still perfectly serviceable?

Why not just put the EotE screen directly behind the Fad one?

All the tables on the screens are virtually identical (without looking, i think only the weapons chart is different) the rules for all three cores are identical.

You may wish to look at the other things that come with the GM kit as well though. Each kit has an adventure module and some bonus rules.

Personally I've found the Squad/Squadron rules in the AoR kit to be quite valuable in situation that aren't specific to an AoR campaign...

I have all three GM screens.

Other than the game-specific changes like Morality versus Obligation, the rest of the content is virtually identical. There are some minor changes with a couple of weapons that are listed on the newer charts that aren’t on the older charts, but I think that’s about it.

I don’t know of any actual errors on any of the screens.

So, if you like the EotE artwork better and you can only afford to have one GM screen set, then you should feel free to go for it. Or not. But it’s your choice.

The screens each reference page numbers of their respective CRB, so keep that in mind.

Also the EotE has nemesis rules, AoR has Squad Rules, F&D has lightsaber construction rules.
