So after doing up Darth Vader's stand to look like the movies
I am left wit the following one vanilla TIE and two TIE advanced. Wile I don't miss not having an eighth tie fighter stand it feels wrong to no use these fighters somehow.
Anyone have any ideas?
Unfortunately, I dont like the advanced as wingmen for anyone else. If you put the Ties with Vader, your only option(for me. I dont like anything else I've considered) it to make Howlrunner a single-fighter. Chop off the two wingman arms & file them flush with the stand.
As for the two extra advanced... Not sure. I suppose you could give a villain a couple wingmen some how.

-ponders- well, I'm just thinking aloud, but have you considered making the extra Tie Ln into the 'Inquisitor's Tie Advanced prototype' from Rebels? A hot water bath, a bit of pressure from some tweezers, seems like it could work pretty well.

No one was supposed to bring that up. I didn't want to sound dumb if it wasnt that simple. My reasoning is that the villains have a flat spot in their connector. Wouldnt that prevent a normal squadron model from fitting into it? I guess you could file a flat spot into the connector on the tie, but I'll classify that as part of my "somehow" to escape criticism.

I've found that only about HALF of my Single Connectors actually have that flat-spot replicated in them - the other half are seemingly just round enough to have a regular squadron model stick straight in.
I used one TIE advanced on a stand to be Vader. Vader doesn't have any friends... that's why he's angry.
