clarification on how man bomb tokens a ship can carry

By kozzie, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Sorry for the noob question, but cant seem to find an answer searching thorough the topics.

Just got the slave 1 expansion and was wondering as a single ship can only carry as many bomb tokens as indicated on their pilot card (i.e one) and because I must discard the card after using it - effectively does this mean I can only drop one bomb in the whole game???

Or does my bomb supply replenish every round so that I can drop another bomb next round??

You do exactly what it says on the card, i.e. you drop one bomb token with one bomb card, and then (usually) discard that bomb card afterwards.

Bombs (and missiles, and torpedoes) are normally single-use.

(You can equip an upgrade in a Torpedo slot which doubles each of your other pieces of ordnance on that ship, but it's not really relevant to the core question here).

Space Invader has it right. One bomb per card, with the Extra Munitions upgrade adding a token you can use instead.

In the case of the Firespray, there is also the Andrasta title that allows you to equip 3 bombs if you feel so inclined.

Alternatively, add the Slave I title and then Extra Munitions into the resulting Torp slot for two bombs (of the same type).

And Sabine Crew on the Fire... oh wait, why would a Mandalorian girl be on a Mandalorian Mercenary's ship? Silly me.

why would a Mandalorian girl be on a Mandalorian Mercenary's ship?

Well considering she's apparently one of the founding members of the Rebel Alliance, it would be silly for her to be on a ship that's working for the Empire.

And Leia was a member of the Imperial Senate, and protected by the Empire. Why isn't there a crew card for her for the Empire too?
