So with Precision strike, are you allowed to choose which face down card gets flipped? I ask because if you know which card is structural damage...you could just flip that card over and over....

It is random so you can't look and choose. Also as the controller of the ship you can't look at facedown cards either.
Ah, alright. But who picks the card to flip? Because if you already know the location of a structural damage, the attacker could choose that one.
Do a random facedown shuffle and then select from there. As in most games with a random pick you should let the person using the ability to pick the card.
Oh, didn't know you shuffled before picking. I guess at best, you'd have a 50/50 chance of picking structural damage with only two dmg cards on a ship.
Having a D6 or two on hand for this sort of thing is a smart idea.
Also a reminder: you are not allowed to look at face down damage for any reason, even if it's on your own ship.

Precision strike specificaly says you flip one random card. What method you use to make the pic random is up to you, but shuffeling the cards seems to be the easyest solution.
