ENTRY FEE: $10
REGISTRATION PROCESS: In order to ensure an accurate head-count, registration will be accepted *IN PERSON OR BY TELEPHONE ONLY* You must sign up either by visiting the store, or calling and confirming with a staff member they have added you to the event roster. You are *NOT* registered if you click “attending” on the Facebook event or replying to a forum post. Seats are limited to 24 players, so act quickly.
Clarification: While you are asked to pre-register, there's no need to pre-pay your entry fee. You can simply pay this the day of the event.
FORMAT:
THREE 75 minute “Swiss style” pairing rounds, with 15 minutes of break and redeployment time between them, followed by TWO 75 minute single-elimination rounds pairing the top 4 players from the swiss rounds. Eliminated players will be welcome, but not required to remain and observe the final rounds. First round will be seeded at random, subsequent swiss round and top 4 cut determination will be determined by tournament points, followed by aggregate "margin of victory" points as a tie breaker.

11:00 AM -12:15 PM first Swiss Round
12:30 PM – 1:45 PM Second wiss round
2:00 PM – 3:15 PM Third Swiss round
3:30 PM – 4:00 PM Participant, top 8, and raffle prize award.
4:00 PM - 5:15 PM First “Top 4” elimination round
5: 30 PM – 6:45 PM Final match

All Participants: Alternate Art “C3P0” crew upgrade card*
Top 8: Acrylic Range Ruler *
Top 4: Acrylic Range Ruler plus challenge coin
Champion: Acrylic range ruler, challenge coin, trophy plaque, and card good for first round “bye” at a 2016 regional event of your choosing.
Raffle Prize: If there are at least 20 paid entries, a retail Imperial Raider expansion will be separated in to multiple lots for a raffle drawing.*
* These prizes will be awarded after the third Swiss round. Players who “drop” prior to completing the third Swiss round will be INELIGIBLE for these prizes.
PLAYER RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to adhering to good sportsmanship and all venue and game rules, players will be expected to do the following:
PRIOR TO EVENT:
Build a legal, 100 point X-Wing squad, including obstacle selection, print and complete a roster sheet (https://images-cdn.fantasyflightgames.com/filer_public/ec/88/ec882449-8a1a-4a8f-a245-57f4a95b34ad/xwing-deck-sheet2.pdf) for the event organizer to review during check-in. You should arrive with your ships assembled, based and ready to play in order to speed set up. Proxied cards are NOT allowed, and customized third-party play aids (IE acrylic tokens, range and maneuver rulers) may be inspected for conformity to official play aids and rejected at organizer discretion. You may want to bring official FFG rulers/tokens as a backup if you plan to use these. You should also have a means of quickly transporting your squadron from one table to another between rounds, such as a tray or bin, as you will be expected to move to a new table each round.
This will be a long event with one short window of opportunity to grab a meal, so you may want to plan to pack a lunch and bring snacks. Pegasus Games does offer soda and snacks and there are carry-out options within the same shopping center.
BEFORE EACH ROUND:
Inspect your opponent’s squad sheet, introduce yourself, and shake hands.
AFTER EACH ROUND:
Thank your opponent for the game, and shake hands. Complete the player section of your scoring sheet, and have your opponent initial. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCURACY OF YOUR OWN SCORE SHEET.
