well that is less than ideal, from a purely x-wing point of view I hope that this doesnt mess with any future planning for waves in 18 months time
Undoubtedly they knew well before we did. After all, waved are designed and tested most likely a year or two in advance while figuring out potential card conflicts and such.
I'm guessing by the time they announce a wave it's already well into production and the packaging is already planned and printed etc.

Still, I'd much rather they take more time if they need to to make an excellent movie rather than rushing it to make a subpar one.

I actually didn't know that they were breaking away from the three years per film rule from before, so this doesn't phase me at all. Yay, a case of blissful ignorance worked out for me. C:

There's been a leaked image of one of the sets that has a '65 with black markings from it! It's a new alternate paint! This will mean a new Droid is likely, some pilots, some other goodies I'm sure. And it's timing might make it coincide with Rebel Veterans! The possibilities man!
