I'd definitely swap out Steath Device for Autothrusters on Poe- SD won't last long on him (2 green dice never goes as far as you hope it will), while AT offers you a defensive boost all day long. With the extra point you could swap out Veteran Instincts for Lone Wolf on one of your guys.

Cracken seems kind of like the odd man out here, being much less powerful and durable than the other two, especially since you'll need to keep him within range 1 of one of the other guys to take advantage of his ability. I understand his inclusion, thematically, but he seems like the dead weight of the squad, especially since you only have 3 ships.

would Blount work better? see what you are saying about AT vs SD.

I like the idea for a theme. Here's a go at making a list of it.

Poe Dameron (31)

+ R2-D2 (4)

+ Autothrusters (2)

+ Flechette Torpedoes (2)

+ Veteran Instincts (1)

Wedge Antilles (29)

+ Push the Limit (3)

+ BB-8 (2)

+ Flechette Torpedoes (2)

+ Integrated Astromech (0)

Lieutenant Blount (17)

+ Hull Upgrade (3)

+ Ion Pulse Missiles (3)

+ Deadeye (1)

That's Paul Heaver's Poe build, though Lone Wolf/R5-P9 costs the same. Wedge with PtL and BB-8 is an awesome combo, like Advanced Sensors and the ability to always fully modify your shots all at once! Blount takes the Z seat for his ability to Deadeye/IPM absolutely anybody that floats into his arc. With the 8 remaining points I put Hull on Blount to lessen the odds of getting one-shot before he can get his missiles off, and gave the X-Wings each Flechette Torpedoes for further control, especially if you can slap stress on a target at the same time Blount ionizes it.

for the last 2 points would you want to save them for initiative bid or maybe add weapons guidance on Poe?

That list comes to 100 points. You could certainly leave off a torpedo for an initiative bid for your PS9/10 ships. There's not much I would recommend Weapons Guidance on at this point; I don't think it's found its niche or combo yet.

missed changing out VI for PTW on Wedge

Looks good.

I agree that Blount is a better call than Cracken - whilst he should be in there thematically, his ability is less useful because the T-65s and T70s only have so much to spend actions on - and if they use them to boost..... you'll be out of formation to use Cracken's ability. Plus he is devastatingly effective with either an Ion Pulse Missile or an Assault Missile (depending on whether you expect to have trouble with aces or swarms).

At the same time, trying to use cracken's ability could work.

Poe with R5-P9 and Veteran Instincts might work better - it allows you to avoid sticking purely to green on the dial. It does risk you getting blocked.....but if you get blocked, Cracken can 'help out' at PS8, getting that focus token into play before you get dog-piled by someone's academy pilots.

For the same reason I'd try to avoid Push The Limit on Wedge - you've only got so many actions to go at anyway, and Push The Limit's value is a bit degraded with all the ways to stress an enemy ship now.

if not PTL on Wedge... VI?

Predator approximates the same thing. If you can avoid bumping and still get your Focus action, you will have that and a re-roll for offense (though only 1-2 dice depending on the defender's PS). It won't get shut off by stress, but the bigger issue anyway is that BB-8 WILL get shut off by stress no matter which EPT you use.
