I've played this list several times now and I'm really enjoying it, but I'm considering a slight change and wanted to get some community feedback about which version would make a better tournament list.

I like having Omega Leader at PS10, but I'm thinking of dropping VI and using Juke instead, bringing the list to 100 points even.

Thoughts?

Leader with Juke is probably better. Veteran Instincts is good - given the need to target lock - but juke goes a long way to upping his firepower. I think it's pretty much a wash, but personally I'd go for Juke; you don't have enough reactive movement to 'respond' to an ace boosting or otherwise doing something unexpected at PS9, and you will rarely have enough firepower to kill a ship before it fires.

On the other hand, when trying to take on Soontir or Vader, they'll be barrel rolling and boosting every turn (since generating tokens does nothing), and if someone gets a boost and barrel roll after you, keeping them in arc is difficult.

On the other, other hand, Vader is still going after you, even with Veteran Instincts, and you have three warm bodies you can use to block.

On the other, other, other hand, apparently I'm a Besalisk.

One observation - you might want to consider swapping the Twin Ion Engines MkII upgrades for a Stealth Device on Omega Leader. On the theory that you can only shoot at him with unmodified dice (much like Dark Curse), that stealth device is extra valuable (much like it is on Dark Curse). By comparison, the TIE/fo is not exactly short of green on its dial already.

I played a couple games with Juke on Omega Leader last night and I liked the results.

In all the games I have played with this list though, I've made great use of the Twin Ion Engine upgrade on all of them, but you make a good point about the Stealth Device on Omega Leader.

I like the theme. If I'd be Imperial, I would build something like that too. Now I am working on T70 Red Squadron list.
