A-Slam Question

By bafdav, in X-Wing

Is there any reason the free action you take after an A-Slam can't be another A-Slam? Thus a never ending loop of manoeuvres?

1. Slam can't be made as a free action

2. you can't perform same action more than once per turn anyway

Because even as free actions, you cannot perform the same action more than once in a turn. Also, the SLAM rules card says that a SLAM cannot be a free action.

Well, one reason is that SLAM is specifically prohibited from being a free action, it gas to be performed as your one regular action in the activation phase or not at all.

The other big reason is that you can never perform the same action twice in one round. No double barrel rolls, no double focus action, and no double SLAMs, even if you were allowed to perform it as a free action.

Super ninja'd.
