Wheatons law people. Then it will be ok.
Organized play announcement...
Can anyone translate this from crazy?

"Don't be a duck." Oops, that's the wrong vowel. You get it.
Presumably the walking carpet was referring to the shiny new banned players list, and advising us on how not to be featured on it.

My favorite part of that article was clicking the 'reveal players on this list' button and only finding 1 name.

I (literally) laughed out loud at that.

Moral is don't cheat. Especially on video.
You've got to give the guy some credit - he must've pulled off quite a stunt for FFG to write this wall of text especially for him. ![]()

Or with half a dozen FFG staff watching.

You can watch it on Youtube too.

He wasn't caught until the video was posted by TC actually.
Link to video?
I will be honest and say the first thing I did when I saw a player had been banned was Google the name. No meaningful results though.

I'm thinking of worlds then.
So much for my plan to create a custom Critical Hit deck filled entirely with Broadcast Malfunction cards.

... if somebody gets banned from playing a game... they might need to go away far far away into the black void or sumtins.

I think the worst part in my mind is this isn't mtg, tournaments aren't for 40 or 50 thousand dollars. There's so little to be gained by cheating in a game without that sort of prize payout it seems even more insane than normal to cheat.
I think so. I remember a picture of a game with a bunch of judges hovering. Forget the exact details.

Yup, AGoT 2nd edition. I just saw the same picture earlier today when discussing that particular player with some friends.

Sum of these weirdos are actually creeps. Regular weirdos like us just love to play a great game... as opposed to watching reruns of Friends on cable.

I would be to disgusted to even watch a guy like dat-ass-whole in an otherwise wonderful environment full of fun nerds.

So what actually took place here?
I watched the video or skimmed through it, didn't see anything
And I don't play the card game so I wouldn't know if someone was cheating, but I'm curious
since I don't play Agot (though having the 1st ed on my shelf.. :-/), I haven't watched yet and wouldn't grasp where he's cheating..
but:
it is okay with me to basically have a vid that says: "don't be that guy"
I'm quite sure there must be some stunt in there, as simple errors wouldn't provocate an article like that for 1 guy only^^

During Conquest players draw 2 cards at the end of each round. He was drawing 3.

Warhammer 40,000 Conquest. He was drawing extra cards.
