Yeah it is waaaaay weird looking. I noticed it when I was drawing y-wings one time, when I was looking for references and I just cringed at it and I can't not notice it now.
Why did I seek out the image?

Amusingly, my first Y-Wing's starboard engine was pretty badly aligned as well. Not as bad as that, but it still required taking off and gluing back in place...
To help wash that image out of your head. Marvel at the Rebel Phoenix hidden in the Sabine pilot card.
(Is the actual y-wing card that jacked up? Not at home and wondering if this is internet shenanigans...)

This would explain the lack luster dial, think about all the green maneuvers we might have if the engine was attached correctly!
Simple, you use the alternate art card, done, fixed. Issue adverted.
My Stresshog only uses the alt card. I highly recommend it.

No mistake: The engine section slides forward for parking in 'compact' spots at the mall. This one is just stuck.
