So, they're Mining Guild TIE Fighters.

So, according to the Rebels Recon for the episode, since they've cut out a large part of their stabilizers they have increased visibility, but they have trouble steering.

These are crappy Tie variants leased out to the Mining Guild by the empire. They are bad compared to regular ties.

I doubt we'll ever see a ship that costs less than 12.

However.... maybe it'll have a modification or title that allows you to equip another upgrade for free or at a discount.

these don't seem like that great of a choice to include in X-Wing TBH. They're not empire, but they're run by people who work for the empire, so not really a great fit in the scum faction either.

Why does everybody think that we'll be getting this crappy thing? There are plenty of great ships the Empire could get, but you guys want a crappy version of a ship we already have two versions of?

Because it literally is a turd, no- really. Its dial would be comparable if not possibly worse than a Z-95's, and though it would be cheaper- is it seriously worth it? No, no it is not.
