Trac-B, Stress-Y, BlockerZ

By Dagonet, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Just throwing this out, a(nother) Rebel control list.

2 Bandits, for the blocks

2 Blue Squadrons, with Tractor Beam and FCS to pull the opponent to a more advantageous spot.

1 Stresshog, the teeth.

Once a likely target has been pulled into teh Y arc, and stripped of tokens, and reduced in agility, the other B is free to attack at will, or reduce even further.

Thoughts?

Damage output might be a little low, but the control aspect lures me in...

I came up with a similar list not long ago, the only difference is that i took a TLT Y instead of the Zs to have more consistent damage overall, i thought to take a FCS B too but the turret is just too good to pass.

I was thinking more along the lines of screwing with the opponent so much that a slight dip in damage output would be offset.

And dropping the agility on a target will help in pushing through some more damage.

Having done some preliminary testing I have to say I like it. It moves a bit slower than I normally like, but I like it. There's a lot of HP to chew through, the TB's provide some nice area denial, in addition to the stresshog's.

i find a-wings to be a more affective blocker and they can boost and have better movement

Yeah, but you can't have two. The Z's, in my hands tend to act more as screeners, or hounds driving the deer.
