Need help with a couple of lists

I'm trying out lists in preparation for a tournament at my local store I came up with a few. Would these be competitive in the current meta?

My first plays around with imperial Kath Scarlet and her stress ability:

Kath Scarlet - 38

Calculation - 1

Mercenary Copilot - 2

Slave 1 - 0

Proton Torpedoes - 4

Saber Squadron Pilot - 21

Push The Limit - 3

Royal Guard TIE - 0

Autothrusters - 2

Stealth Device - 3

Saber Squadron Pilot - 21

Royal Guard TIE - 0

Autothrusters - 2

Stealth Device - 3

Total - 100

My second list focuses on Major Rhymer's ability to be able to fire Adv. Homing Missiles at any range

Major Rhymer - 26

Adv. Homing Missiles - 3

Proton Torpedoes - 4

Assault Missiles - 5

Extra Munitions - 2

Epsilon Squadron Pilot - 15 (x4)

Total - 100

A couple changes:

Swap Proton Torpedoes for Mangler to get some really good mileage out of Kath's ability, or Ion Cannon for the extra utility. Then change Merc Copilot to Tactician to add more control, and force opponents to really fear that Range 2 band.

I prefer Push the Limit to Stealth Device, as evade + focus has always served me better than an extra green die.

If you ditch Calculation and take the Ion Cannon, you can bump the Sabers up to Royal Guard Pilots. I definitely think that's worth it, but it's your call.

That 40 point Rhymer is a juicy treat that people will focus fire on and take him out by round two. Extra munitions is always great, but you should dial back on all that ordnance. You can save up to 9 points for other things.

For one thing, I do not actually own Mangler Cannon but I can see its the better choice for Kath

As for Mercenary Copilot, I have found it to be pretty effective and I'm not too bad at controlling range. And for the ditching calculation, I don't see where the extra points come from?
