Ideas for Falcon build? Go!

By DonnieDarkside, in X-Wing Squad Lists

So I bought the Millennium Falcon Expansion for a couple of cards, but now I'm wanting to make a squad build. Here's what I have

Both Cores

Rebel Aces

Imperial Aces

B-Wing

K-Wing

Tie Advanced

Millennium Falcon

Let me know what fun, casual builds you have

To make the falcon pretty good you should try and pick up one of those c-3p0s floating around right now. There is a ton after store champs.

You could go...

Han Solo — YT-1300 46 Push the Limit 3 C-3PO 3 Luke Skywalker 7 Engine Upgrade 4 Millennium Falcon 1 Ship Total: 64

"Blue Ace" — T-70 X-Wing 27 R2-D2 4 Shield Upgrade 4 Ship Total: 35

I've looked for just cards on eBay and haven't seen anything. Where's a good place to find stuff like that?

Any game store that is running a store championship is giving them out to the top 32 players.

Oh. My loca store just did an event today. I literally have 4 games played.

It has to be a Store Championship for 3PO. Not all stores will have 32 players though. Look for a local FB group for X-wing and see if there's one in reasonable travel distance. Don't worry about winning, go and have fun! :)

^This. I've played a total of 3 times and I still entered my store's championship for next month. I don't expect to win but I do expect to have fun doing it! That's the most important thing.

What is the big hype with C-3PO? He just seems to random to me.

Because you can legitimately guess "zero" as the number of evades you'll roll. If you do - then if you roll no evades, you still get one.

He essentially garuantees the falcon will roll an evade the first time it's shot at each turn.

Combined with the Falcon title granting the evade action, the flying pizza can actually be surprisingly hard to hit!

@Magnus, thanks. Makes a lot more sense now.
