I'm thinking that Boba Fett and Leia compliment each other really well, the same way Luke does but for Mercs. Both self-heal for the mid/late game and Leia's ability to get double time out of Boba early on should destroy any early push by your opponent. You should be able to build around hunters/spies/leaders in the command deck as well.

I like the idea of pairing those 2 up. Just wish that Scum had a different/more options for cheap units besides Guns. Still, this is a good looking squad worth trying out.

I did a little self-testing last night with this list.

Hired Guns are exceptional value. They set up bad options for your opponent. Do I waste an attack on them or do I pass up the easy target to attack something stronger behind them? Either way they should get 2 attacks off before dying which should do a few points of damage while soaking up attacks as your real troops get into position. The elites are too expensive IMO.

I ran it in Kuat Drive Yards (Data Stash, or whatever) against the following:

2x Elite Snowtroopers

2x Reg Royal Guards

2x Reg. Officers.

Both times I played this through the Imps got just crushed even with initiative. They got the Hired Guns but that's about it. The mobility and 2 attacks per turn with Boba (thanks to Leia) just shredded, allowing the Trandos to FF down first the RGs then the troopers. The sight lines on that map make Gideon crazy.

I'll try it again subbing out the Elite Snows for Elite Stormies and see if the added focusing can actually stun Leia or Boba. Focused Fett is ridiculous, where he is nearly guaranteed to weaken the RG's, making stunning nearly impossible (-1 anti-surge inherent, -1 for the weaken). The nerfs have made them tolerable.

I've also got another Merc list that I like which I didn't test against b/c it has to be proxied. It also uses 2x rHired Guns and Gideon. And I don't have extras (TO EBAY!)
